The title Disney Universe is the name of the virtual world in which the game takes place. The player's task is to save the digital land from the attack of a malicious hacker who wants to destroy the fairy-tale universe. A special costume resembling a selected character from Disney production is to help us save the world. Overall, more than 40 outfits are available. Costumes, however, are not only decorations, as each of them has special properties that can be further developed while playing.Gameplay in Disney Universe is a specific combination of a LittleBigPlanet-style platformer with games from the LEGO series. The campaign consists of six unique worlds inspired by Disney cartoons and movies. Individual stages have been designed in such a way that each of them presents the player with a slightly different challenge. So, to complete some levels you need a lot of dexterity, in others you need a bit of cunning, and still others force you to strain the gray cells when solving various puzzles.Disney Universe is aimed mainly at children, so it is not surprising that all elements of the game are kept in a fairy-tale convention. Nevertheless, the colorful graphics, lively music, a galaxy of nice characters and a whole lot of humorous situations will certainly appeal to older players as well.
